Presentation: Multi-Story Building with RISAFloor & RISA-3D
Description: In this presentation, we'll delve into the modeling speed, efficiency, and tools available in RISAFloor and RISA-3D through the analysis of a multi-story building structure. RISA offers a fully integrated suite of design tools, providing a seamless workflow for the analysis and design of diverse structures. Specifically, we'll showcase the modeling and gravity design of our multi-story structure in RISAFloor. With the results in hand, we'll demonstrate how the Director tool facilitates the direct transfer of model information to RISA-3D for the completion of lateral design tasks.
Presenter: Candice Cobb - Technical Marketing Engineer, RISA Technologies
Candice Cobb is an Atlanta, GA native. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in both Architecture and Structural Engineering from Georgia Tech. Prior to her work with the software company, RISA, Candice worked as an structural engineer for 5 years. During that time, she worked on multi-family housing, educational buildings, and adaptive re-use. She has also worked in Architecture, General Contracting, and Structural Engineering.
